This is the skin healthy smoothie from a recent podcast episode. It really made me feel glowing from the inside out, so hopefully it will do the same for you. Of course, if there are any ingredients which don’t agree with you, just leave them out or swap them and it will still be lovely.
Benefits of Ingredients
This smoothie is really anti-inflammatory thanks to the ginger and turmeric. Lemon really helps our liver and lymphatic system to cleanse us on the inside and mango really boosts our immune system with it’s folate, B vitamins and vitamins A, C, K & E.

Ingredients
- Spinach X 1 handful
- Frozen Mango X 1 handful
- Natural Soya Yoghurt or Greek Yoghurt X 3 Tablespoons
- Juice of half a lemon
- Finely chopped ginger X 1 tsp
- Turmeric X 1/4 teaspoon
- Black Pepper X 1/2 tsp
- Water to cover for blending
- Add more water to preferred consistency
Method
- Add all of the ingredients into a blender/smoothie maker/nutribullit
- Blend until smooth
- Add the additional water if needed to get the consistency just right for you
Variety is key when it comes to our gut health so switch up your ingredients and get the benefit of different nutrients. Frozen fruit is great to have on hand too.
